i have two pages on my screen

How do I get rid of the second page that comes up automatically when I reach the end of the page?

TextMaker creates a new page only if there is content which doesn't fit on the first page. Maybe there are some blanks or an invisible break at the end of your document. You may click on the paragraph symbol in the toolbar or invoke Tools > Options, tab "View", and then check "All" at "Show unprintable characters" to make everything in your document visible.

I increased the view to 125% and it seems to be all good.
