How often/responsively is TextMaker updated?

Hi,

I'm new to SoftMaker, investigating whether it's OSX applications are suitable for replacing Microsoft Office, which I have to migrate away from due to Catalina. I'm still in my trial period.

I'm finding that TextMaker is pretty good, but has some pretty glaring bugs and missing features. I'm happy to provide detailed bug reports, and I have, but I'm wondering, before I put down my money for this software, whether my reports are likely to be acted on anytime soon. Can anyone here opine as to how often SoftMaker releases updates? And does anyone have positive experience with requesting a feature and seeing it added? Are bugs generally fixed promptly?
