Phrases don't appear in Index

I've added single word entries to an Index and it generates the index OK. However, if I highlight a phrase and add that as an entry, the phrases don't appear when the Index is generated - though the phrases appear in the Edit index entries list. Can anyone help me with what I'm doing wrong? Thanks.

Why have you still not fixed this problem in December 2020?

I doubt there will be a fix as the latest version is 2021 and they are probably working on 2022 version right now.
