row color for alternate rows

I saw it, didn't record it. HOW does one assign different colors to alternate rows?

Either use "tables" which offer table styles with alternating row shading, or go to the sheet properties and set alternate shading for the whole worksheet. Note that the latter is not compatible with Excel, it's a PlanMaker-only feature.
