Accidently clicked on dont save while exiting Textmaker

I was writing a document and while exiting Textmaker I accidentally clicked on "no" when the pop up asked me if I want to save the changes..

can I recover it?

I tried looking for backups but I couldn't find it

yes I have "Auto-Recovery" and "Create backup files" checked in the "Options" menu but I am unable to locate the backup(if there is any)
what should I do in this case?

Unfortunately, when you tell it not to save, then it really does not save. You can go to Documents\SoftMaker\Backup to find older versions of the file.
