Send document via email?

So far, TextMaker is working really well for me. The only feature I miss from MS Word for Mac is the file menu's "Share>Email (as attachment)..." thing. I thought I gathered from another forum post that the feature exists, but I can't find it. (Perhaps it's only in the paid version?) Thanks for whatever insights you can offer, friends!!

Hi, in TextMaker 2018 for Mac, the option is in File | Send
However in FreeOffice 2018 the option isn't available.

Thanks for the explanation, but it doesn't work. If I relate Thunderbird takes me to the software but doesn't open an email with the attached file.

Unfortunately, Thunderbird on the Mac cannot be made to accept an e-mail from an application while Thunderbird is running. Mail sending works fine with macOS Mail.
