A2 is 42.0 x 59.4 cm.
The maximum PlanMaker allows is 55.88 cm.
My suggestion would be for you to use the A3 format. Then later you want print it by stretching to A2, because all lines and fonts will me screeched with no loss of quality, as they are vectorial. If you use images, use high definition images.

Saw this only today. Sorry for the belated reaction.

Just like TextMaker, PlanMaker can handle WMF vector graphics. You can use Inkscape to vectorize bitmap-images and even to export them to WMF. As long as SVG is not supported, WMF is an acceptable “Work-Around”.
Hindsight is in the eye of the beholder.
