Prompts for Product Key, Doesn't Allow Registration for Key

Can anyone help with this? I open it for the first time after downloading and I'm prompted to get a free product key. I enter in my email and it says it can't connect to the server and to check network connection. My internet is working so what's the deal? Thanks.

Hi, please turn your firewall off (temporarely) or add shop.softmaker.com to your firewall whitelist. Then try again

I checked, firewall is off and still not working.

I'm running MacOS 10.10.5 if that matters.

1. What Office suite you are running? SoftMaker Office or FreeOffice?
2. What version do you have? 966?
3. Please send us a screenshot with the error message
4. Make sure you whitelist licensing.softmaker.com or disable your firewall

Same problem here! Mac version 10.1.6 (El Capitan). Downloaded Freeoffice 2018 for MAC. Already updated for version 971. Already tried to disable firewall. My internet connection is OK. But I still get the same message "The connection to the server failed. Please check your internet connection or try again later." (SS attached, message in portuguese)... Can someone help me?
