Smallest amount of RAM for a nicely operating Textmaker

Hello

I have a project where I will be working away from the office.
I need a computer I can carry with me. I have an old netbook, but it's not very powerful. 900Mhz (single core!) processor, 512MB Ram.
Will Textmaker work on it, or is it too old?

I don't think anyone here knows, apart from Sofmaker staff and devs. The only thing I could find were operating system requirements.

Why don't you just install and see if it runs? That is what I would do.

I was thinking that one would have been in touch.
It would be a bit of fiddling to recomission the computer. I have no idea what OS is on there at the minute.
I will install it on a virtual machine and report back. Thank you!
