Aquire picture from scanner

Hi,
I saw advertised that there was now scanner support for dropping pictures directly into a Textmaker page.
Under the 'Picture icon I only have 'From file' and a check box for inserting as a frame.
Is this function not available in the trial? If so, what is the point of having a trial if you can't use it to its full extent?

This feature is only available in the Windows version. On other operating systems, you can scan with your scanner's application and insert the scan as a file.
