How to use some features

Post by liis »

Hi, I am using SoftMaker 2018 and I have some questions:

1) When I use PlanMaker, sometimes I need to use filter. In MS Excel when I am looking for smth in the filter I can use special field. I begin typing and application ends my request. Is there any possibility to do the same in PlanMaker?
2)How can I add links to another sheet in one book? There is no navigation between sheets when I try to add link. I can just write the expression by myself

1. I will refer your wish as a feature request to our product management.
2. It works the same way as in MS Excel:
1. Click the cell in which you want to enter the Link
2. In the formula bar, type = (equal sign)
3. Click the tab for the worksheet to be referenced.
4. Select the cell or range of cells to be referenced.

Thanks for reply!

I have some new questions

1) I use softmaker office in my domain. I want to make the default configuration for all users (for ex. save documents in office format, default backup folder, default scaling options for all documents) and just to copy it via group police. Where do this setting can be found? Or how can I do it, because it is awful to configure softmaker for each user...

2) When I activate my windows version of softmaker, every user who want to work on this pc have a licensed version, but when I use softmaker on ubuntu every new user on a single computer should enter activation code. What should I do to activate office for all users on ubuntu pc?

1. https://www.softmaker.com/en/tips-installation

2. This will change with the next service pack. From then on, the license data will be in /etc/SoftMaker, shared among all users.

Yeah, I have found this tips, but what about scaling options and similar? I believe that I can change them only via template file, isn't it? And the only way, how to do it is to copy it from my server to user documents folder and replacing normal file, or I can do it in another way?

You mean the zoom factor? It is stored in each file individually. So you have to store it in a template file.

So I have updated to the new version.

Now I need to track changes in planmaker. Is it possible? If it does, how should i enable it?
