Adding multiple pics from a file

So I have a folder of pics I want to add to a presentation as 1 pic per slide. Is there a way to do it without having to create a new slide for each pic? Also is there a way to set the pic orientation to the whole folder? The original folder contained pics from my cel phone oriented in a horizontal position and I painstakingly went through them all rotating each one to a vertical position. When I try add them to a slide they come out in the original horizontal position...how can I stop that from happening? I followed the manual pg 133 for help on inserting a group of pics from a folder, but could not see the option to insert the contents of the whole folder, it only let me select one pic at a time. What am I doing wrong...PS pls include screen shots in you answers...thnx

You can select multiple pictures at once in the the photo album (menu=>Insert=>Photo album).
