Is there much of a change or improvement to the OLE process in TextmMaker 2018 from TextMaker 2016?

I use 2016, and I've been experimenting with this feature for a class on word processing later this week. I've found some things that do not work correctly, and posted a couple of them in the TextMaker 2016 forum.

Over the past weekend, I discovered it's possible to create the situation where the OLE object will not even display in the document. Also, it's possible to somehow break the link to the embedded document. The only way I've discovered to solve these problems is to reboot the computer. Windows 7. Closing and restarting TextMaker does not solve the problem.
