Text object appearing bullet point by bullet point

I'm trying to create a text object consisting of bullet points. I would like each bullet point to appear on each click of the mouse. For example

• line 1 (only appear on mouse click)

• line 2 (only appear on mouse click)

I've been reading the manual and could not seem to get it to work. I can only make everything to appear for the text box object.

I'm not sure where I went wrong. Can someone correct me in this.

You have to right mouse click on the text frame with the bullets in it. Then add an animation and confirm. Now edit the animation. In the tab "Text" of the animation properties, select one entry in "Animate paragraphs".
