pmdx vs xlsx - Linux [SOLVED]
Planmaker encourages one to save files in the pmdx format to be able to make full use of its features. What are the features that cannot be used when PM saves a file in xlsx format?

When you look into the PDF manual you will find some features (e.g. some special formulas) which only exisits in PlanMaker. These features cannot be stored in the MS Excel file format.

@Sven: thanks for that Sven, I downloaded the manual and found it.
BTW, the manual is not quite up-to-date,as an example:
to edit range names, the manual says:

In reality, the user should go to tab Formula > Edit names.Choose the menu command Worksheet > Names > Edit.
