The keyboard does not respond

I do not react even if I strike the keyboard to input. (Office 2018 All Apps)
My Mac is the latest version

Does that only happen with SoftMaker Office but not with other apps? Which Revision of SoftMaker Office is installed (Help=>About)? Which Mac and keyboard are you using? Which version of macOS is installed?

It does not happen with other applications. Your application is Revision 928.
The Mac version is the latest 10.13.4.
The keyboard is genuine Mac.

It can be extremely frustrating when your keyboard won't work. The keyboard is the primary mode of input to your computer. If you have no keyboard, you can't perform simple tasks like logging in to your operating system, or even entering your computer's BIOS setup.

I've downloaded ver.942.1129. at 1st.Dec 2018
I'm encountering the same situation.
English, Japanese, Russian... all of language is non-accepted.
keyboard entry is not recognizend.
Moreover, I can't enter the product key... :twisted:
Copy and paste doesn't be accepted, too.
Can everyone use this software properly?

There are currently no other customers reporting this problem and it is (with English and German keyboard layout) not reproducible for us with rev.942. Please note that some east Asian keyboard layouts like Chinese, Japanese or Korean are currently not working with SoftMaker Office 2018 for Mac but we are working on it.

So it really doesn't work with English or Russian? Does the same keyboard work in other programs on the same Mac?

Thanks for your information.

English and Russian work with MacOS IME (original).
3rd party IME doesn't work (All languages like English, Japanese, et al.).
I am disappointed at having purchased this software, it doesn't fill my needs.

Which 3rd party IME exactly does not work with SoftMaker Office?

I'm using "Kawasemi2" for input Japanese and English.

Hello,
I've encountered the same problem with FreeOffice 2018/Mac.
Mojave's standard JapaneseIM doesn't work.
I'm not using 3rd party's IM.

Have you both updated to the new revision 944 and the issue is still occuring?

ver.945 is the same.
MacOS original IME doesn't too.

We investigated the problem more closely. IMEs (which are used for Japanese/Chinese/Korean) currently don't work on the Mac, but other languages that don't require IMEs (those with Latin, Cyrillic or Greek letters) will work.

We are working on implementing IME support as quickly as possible.

Ver.960 and after, Asian language (IME) has been supported, however, it doesn't work completely.
Ie, Japanese language has some kind of characters like "Hiragana" "Katakana" "Chinese character (Kanji)".
We have to input in 'Hiragana" at first, hit the 'space key' to exchange to "Katakana" or "Kanji", repeat hitting 'space key' to find the proper character, then hit the 'enter key' to fix.
But, We can use "Hiragana" only because 'space key' is insert blank character (space) instead of exchange the character.
This is useless, so please seek improvement.
