I have a .DOCX file that suddenly started to crash TextMaker Professional 2016. After each crash, next time I open TM I am offered an opportunity to send a crash report to SoftMaker.
However, the attempt fails repeatedly with the following message box:
I have Thunderbird installed on that computer, and it is the default program for all its possible associations.
Please tell me WHICH program I need to make the default for WHICH file extension, in order to get this crash report over to you. (It would be helpful if the error message specified this, too.)
For what it's worth, the .DOCX file in question also crashes TextMaker FreeOffice 2016 and the trial version of TextMaker 2018, but it does open fine in TextMaker Professional 2012.
Thanks for your help.
Can't send crash report to SoftMaker
Re: Can't send crash report to SoftMaker
Please make sure that Thunderbird is the default e-Mail client for Windows:

Re: Can't send crash report to SoftMaker
Thunderbird is already the default e-mail client.
I am trying to transition to SMO from MS Office, but a file that suddenly starts crashing TextMaker (while working fine in Word) will be an obstacle to making the transition. I am more interested in getting this file over to SM for analysis, than in figuring out the intricacies of e-mail software. Is there some other secure and confidential way to send you the file?
