How to make graphs
I'm trying to make a graph to compare between 3 value progressions via equations. Is this possible or should I seek out other software? If so, what one would you recommend?
Re: How to make graphs
I presume your equations have an x input and a y output. I presume the x input is the same for all three equations that you wish to compare. Make a column containing that set of x-values. Then make three columns for the y-values from the 3 equations. Turn the equations into formulae that Planmaker can understand, and get the formulae to look for the x-value in the x-value column. In each of the three y-value columns write the appropriate formula and copy down the range. The formula should calculate the y-value, given the x-value, for each x-value. Now you have four columns with values. Use x-y scatterplot graphs, place the x-range on the x-axis, and create a scale of y-values large enough to accommodate all the possible y-values. Now plot each x-y range (three of them) on the graph. Hope this is clear...
