How do I highlight cells?

I'm new to Planmaker but learning fast. What is the quickest and easiest way to highlight (colourise) selected files? The sequence of steps given is always the best way for me to understand and succeed. Thanks in anticipation!

1. Select the cells you want to colorize
2. Right mouse click on the cell selection
3. Select "Shading" from the context menu
