Upgrade from 2016 version

OK I got a pop up to download the "new" software. I did, which is the 2018. What about all the documents that I made using the 2016 version?? Shouldn't they just convert over?? Am I missing something here? Not very happy at the moment!!! :evil:

SMO 2018 is completely downward compatible to 2016 – which means you can open and save all 2016 documents with SMO 2018. No difference here – 2018 just changed the default standard format, but you can adjust it as you like.
