Comments disappeared - HELP

Hi everyone

Drafted a document with 50 comments (bubbles) none of which have saved.

I've tried to start a new doc, add comments, and save - same thing happened.

Any advice on how to retrieve my work and/or avoid this problem in future please??

1. Which file format did you save in?

2. Can you check in File > Properties > Reviewing if just the display of comments is turned off?

3. Can you provide a sample document?

It was saved as word 1997 - 2003

The comments are turned on

I created a sample file with some comments in it and saved it in the following file formats:
- docx (MS Word 2007)
- doc (MS Word 2003)
- tmd (TextMaker 2016)
- tmdx (TextMaker 2018)

None of these files lost it's comments after re-opening in TextMaker. Could you please send us a sample file to forum(at)softmaker.com?

I have also tested with new documents and it's saving comments now

I did nothing differently with the document I sent to you where they did not save though. And all other changes in the doc are saved.

How was this issue resolved? It has just happened to me and I've lost hundreds of comments! Please HELP!

Hi, are you using the latest version (966)?

Yes, everything is fully updated.

Could you please post here a file where this happens and provide us with a step-by-step procedure so we can try to reproduce the issue?
