Some TextMaker 2016 TMD Documents Crash TextMaker 2018, rev. 928.0314

So far I’ve found two TextMaker 2016 TMD (no X) documents I previously created that crash TextMaker 2018, rev. 928.0314. In case it matters, I’m using TextMaker 2018 on a 8GB RAM equipped laptop running Win 7, 64-bit.

Previously, TextMaker 2018 would just crashed. Just recently, and just once, Windows 7’s “Compatibility Assistant” kicked in and fiddled with my “Group Policy” settings on its own. This seemed to briefly allow TextMaker 2018 to open the documents, though possibly in an unstable state. (I hope the same can be said about the policy changes!)

I've attached a screen capture showing TextMaker 2018 crashing, but the video provides no other useful information. If you don't doubt the veracity of my post, then there's little reason to bother downloading it. I have not attached either of the two documents that crash TextMaker 2018 because one is about 15MB and because both contain copyrighted information.

We would need a sample file that crashes on opening with TextMaker. You could send it to forum(at=softmaker.de, so no one else would see the file and we will delete it after fixing the crash.
