Does/Will Textmaker support Endnote?

Post by faffy »

I'd love to leave MS Word behind, however, I am tied to it by Endnote. I write scientific articles and I use Endnote to handle references. That's the only thing that I can't do in other porcessors. OpenOffice and WP are not supported by Endnote. Do you plan to support Endnote or other reference managers?

Do you have any other suggestion?

Well, TextMaker 2005 will support references by itself, so you don't need the software Endnote.

The version number "2005" gives a certain hint... :D

Seriously, the Windows version is in private beta; the other platforms will take some time before entering beta.

Well, you are only partially right. Textmaker 2005 was called 2004 before, yet it was not released that year

Anyway, I am looking forward to the new version.

Yes, that was before we decided to switch all of our applications to Unicode...

if you are going to support unicode completely, it makes worth to wait. I would love to see all of the products support unicode as well.

In the first version, we support Unicode Level 1. This excludes right-to-left and complex Asian scripts, but I am sure we'll (have to) add them over time...
