SoftMaker Mail on Windows CE

Hi there,
Not sure where to post this as I can't find a forum for this software.

My father has a UbiSurfer with the Windows CE version of SoftMaker office installed, including Mail.

I have been trying to configure it to access gmail with zero success. Please could somebody advise on the following:

1. Is there any way to configure it to access via IMAP

2. If not, how do I make it access via POP, as gmail requires an SSL connection, which does not appear to be available as an option when configuring the software.
