Post by erika »

When do you think that PresentationMaker and DataMaker be available on Windows and Linux? We are looking forward to buying them. :)

The Windows version of DataMaker and SoftMaker Presentations will be released this year. However, there is no fixed release date yet.

After the release of SoftMaker Office 2007 for Windows we will take a look at other platforms.

To make the naming consistent among all products, I would recommend you to name "SoftMaker Presentations" as "PresentationMaker". Consistency is the most important thing for customers. Also it is easy to recognize and remember the names if they follow a strict naming standard. :)

The naming will be SoftMaker Presentations, as most other names are either protected trademarks or don't sound very well.

I still hope that Softmaker Presentations will be available for WM6 as the slide making programs currently available are not very strong.

As soon as the Windows version is ready we will work on porting to the Pocket PC platform. However, there are still some technical issues to solve.
