Weird. My Word shows strike-through. I double checked by downloading the document from here. Strikethrough in Word, comment pane in TextMaker.
I am using Office 365, version 2310 (build 16924.20150), and SM Office NX Trial version.

Could you please share a sample Word document where you are experiencing this issue? We will investigate and see what can be done.

Default settings can only be applied to new documents. For existing documents, TextMaker uses the settings already stored in that document.

This is a document setting. It seems the person who created the document you worked on preferred seeing deletions in the comments pane.

Switch via File, Properties, Reviewing, Deletions: Strikethrough.
