Re: Line spacing in bullets

Funny, isn't it, how our preferences differ?
That must be why they’re called ‘preferences!’

Your member “Tardis40” would like a slightly larger line space immediately before a first bullet point, to make the bullet list more distinctive. I prefer the exact opposite.

I always fiddle with ...

Text flow control in tables

I have always found, whenever formatting paragraph Text-flow within a table , that, although the hyphenation setting does work, the Paragraph control settings, ' Keep with next ' and ' Keep together ' do not .

Am I correct ...

Re: No macros solution

Could SoftMaker not implement macros for us? They’re incuded in LibreOffice, and that’s free, but I’ve always been a SMO supporter and I’d prefer to stay with SMO.

No macros solution

In a PlanMaker spreadsheet on my Mac, I'd like to automate a goal-seek action within a cell.

I understand that,
    SoftMaker Office doesn't support macros,
SoftMaker Office on the Mac excludes BasicMaker,
    PlanMaker won't run scripts.

So how can I do it please, anyone?

    Re: Texmaker not responding

It hasn’t happened to me again but I haven’t been using TM much.
But my earlier reports were accurate, so I’m just wondering, any resolution yet?

    Re: Texmaker not responding

    sminfo.txt attached as requested.

This is from the day after I experienced unresponsiveness, during which day I’ve been doing further work on the same document without experiencing a repeat of yesterday’s diminished TM performance.

    Re: Texmaker not responding

    More info:

I'm struggling away with this because I'm trying to work on a current document, and I just discovered something that might be important: When TM becomes massively unresponsive, I can cure it immediately by just slightly re-sizing the TM window.

    I hope this helps.

    Re: Texmaker not responding

Immediately after submitting my first posting on this, when I returned to TM, the ultra-unresponsiveness had returned. I tried opening other documents. All were the same. I forgot to mention earlier that I had rebooted the Mac to see if that fixed it. It hadn't done. Now, I saved my document and ...

Thanks Jodi. I too have not found anything that fails to work on MacOS/Parallels. Maybe I’ll try reinstalling.

Inverted inverted commas (inverted "speech marks")

In my writing, I often need to quote part of something another person has written or said. This can very often be just a short phrase of part of a sentence, which I indicate by means of an ellipsis to signify preceding and/or following words that are omitted.

I confess that I have struggled with ...
