Re: Can I select multiple footnotes at once?

Thanks, yes, I'd already turned on Extended Asian Support. But I still saw no way in Paragraph Style to change Asian text from one font to another. Here's the solution I just found using Martin's hint: by right-clicking anywhere on the document and selecting Character, I could change the Asian font ...

Re: Can I select multiple footnotes at once?

Aha, that is exactly why I'd like to select multiple footnotes at once. In particular, I'd like to keep the font of the Western text in the footnotes as Times New Roman, but to switch the font of the Asian (Korean) text in the footnotes from Batang to NanumMyeonjo. When I open Paragraph Styles from ...

Re: Can TextMaker automatically convert two hypehns to an em dash?

Hello Goghard,

Is this available on the FreeOffice TextMaker version or only on the Office 2021 version?

I ask because I cannot find any Smart Text option under the Insert tab on FreeOffice.

Thank you,
Eric

[Resolved] Can TextMaker automatically convert two hypehns to an em dash?

Hello,

I've really come to like how Microsoft Word automatically converts two hyphens into an em dash; it's a great convenience. Can TextMaker do that?

Thank you,
Eric

[Resolved] Can I set the default Zoom Level?

Hello, When I open a document, it defaults to Standard View and displays the document at a Zoom Level that matches 'fit page width', which on my monitor is about 230%. This is too magnified for my comfort, so every time I open the program, I have to reduce the Zoom Level to 150%. Is there any way to...

[Resolved] Can I select multiple footnotes at once?

Hello, When I create footnotes, each footnote seems to be its own separate item, even when there are multiple footnotes on the same page. As a result, I cannot select text in more than one footnote at a time. Is there any way to select text across multiple footnotes (or all footnotes) at once? I've ...

Re: Can TextMaker separately set default fonts for Western and Asian languages?

Thank you very kindly; that's very clear, and it worked. Do I have to do anything to mark this thread as resolved?

Sincerely,
Eric

[Resolved] Can TextMaker separately set default fonts for Western and Asian languages?

Hello, Microsoft Word lets me separately set default fonts for Western and Asian languages--for example, Times New Roman for Western languages and NanumMyeongjo for Asian. Can I do that with either the free (FreeOffice) version or the paid version of TextMaker? (I have searched the forum and the int...
