Thank you for your reply.
I did find the file ~/SoftMaker/Settings/tm21config.ini but not tmw21config.ini and did change the "Documents=" field path and the problem disappeared.
Thank you

Re: Pressing F12 key crashes TextMaker
Thank you for your reply.
Doing this, I loose all my settings. Is there a file that I can edit so it doesn't load the mentioned folder (big folder which I don't know which one it is)?
Thank you.

Thanks for reporting this problem. I was able to reproduce it and forwarded the details to our developer team. Thank you for your reply. Do you mind checking this thread as well? : https://forum.softmaker.com/viewtopic.php?f=389&t=22098&sid=36bc840577cad21aea9791c08fe768b4 Would greatly app...

Re: Pressing F12 key crashes TextMaker
This simply starts the file manager which has to scan your hard disk. This might take some time. If you don't want this to happen by accident, customize the keyboard and remove F12. Thank you for your reply. I am no expert but it shouldn't need to lock the whole process (until killed manually) and ...

Superscript from PlanMaker will loose its character formatting when pasted in TextMaker
Hi SoftMakers, If you have a superscript-ed digit in a cell in PlanMaker, that let's say has a position 30% and size of 66%, then copy the whole cell and paste it in TextMaker. The superscript will become a regular digit, unless you only highlight the digit in that cell you just pasted, then Format ...

Pressing F12 key crashes TextMaker
Hi SoftMakers,
Pressing the F12 key while in TextMaker puts the app in a non responsive state.
Running rev S1034.0713 on openSUSE 15.3.
Thank you in advance.
Update:
Please note that doing the same thing (pressing F12) in PlanMaker does open the file manager, and PlanMaker doesn't crash at all.

Re: Editing a line writes over the text instead of pushing it in classic menus
Hi again, For some weird reason, I changed both PlanMaker and TextMaker to Classic Menus and none of them do the overwriting of the text anymore. I can not reproduce the error anymore. I tried to to have both TextMaker and PlanMaker open and only change one of them to Ribbon or Classic Menus and it ...

Editing a line writes over the text instead of pushing it in classic menus
Hi SoftMakers, If you open TextMaker in classic menus and toolbars and want to edit a line anywhere in that line of text, the cursor/your writing writes over the previous text instead of pushing it forward which would be the normal way. But if you switch the user interface to Ribbon, then editing a ...

Re: Numbering glitch after the latest update
Yes please, for sometime revert to previous revision number which you have. Thanks for understanding. Thank you for your reply. I found the 1024 revision through openSUSE YaSt repository and forced an update. I had to redo the numbering in those documents edited or created in 1026 revisi...

Re: Numbering glitch after the latest update
Thank you for your reply.
Should I revert back to an earlier version? I have softmaker-office-2021-1022.x86_64.rpm downloaded from before. Should I run and install 1022 for time being?

[SOLVED] Numbering glitch after revision 1026 update
Hi Softmakers, I don't think there was anything wrong with the numbering feature in Textmaker before the update of 1026 revision. You can reproduce the glitch by opening a blank document, type few lines with a word or two in each line, toggle numbering for the lines, save the document (in my case .d...

Re: Thumbnailer support for .docx .xlsx
Thank you @lgsl for the reply. Edit: I did install calligra, made sure the Dolphin settings had the previews on and rebooted. But there are no previews. Is this a bug? Is there a conflict somewhere!? This feature (or at least for me) is a bit buggy. Dolphin can take a sweet time rendering the thumb...

Re: Thumbnailer support for .docx .xlsx
Yes. If you install Caligra and then in Dolphin you go to General => Previews you can activate previews for MS Office Documents, as well for LibreOffice/OpenDocument. Thank you @lgsl for the reply. Edit: I did install calligra, made sure the Dolphin settings had the previews on and rebooted. But th...

Thumbnailer support for .docx .xlsx
Hi Softmakers, After some digging I realized that I have to bring my question here. Is there a way to be able to see a preview or a thumbnail of a document? I use KDE and Dolphin is my file manager. On openSUSE forum they suggest that I install Calligra Suite but they are not sure that the Calligra ...
