Hello, Suppose I create a file: /home/me/Documents/myDoc.docx Then I create a symbolic link onto my Desktop: ln -s /home/me/Documents/myDoc.docx /home/me/Desktop/myDocLink.docx If I open myDocLink, TextMaker opens the document.
