Is there an update of this for the 2024 versions ?
Do we still have an interest of using tmdx instead of docs ?

Master and subdocuments
I am managing a very big document.
It could be easier to me to work with smaller ones.
On MS Word and libreOffice, there is a feature called "Master and Sub-documents". I did not find such a feature in Textmaker. Do you have a solution for this ?

Re: Cannot cross reference a custom heading
My concern is not to know how the competitor products behave but what are my need as user instead.
The goal of competition is include added value in your product. If not, what is the point to pay for it?

Cannot cross reference a custom heading
The title is self explanatory.
When the Heading is selected in the Cross Refrence DIalog Box, the list does not contain the titles with custom headings

Bug: I cannot acknowledge an error dialog box
I tried to change a paragraph style. I wanted to change the field "Based on". Unfortunately I did a mistake, I selected a substyle of it, hence I got the error "Paragraph styles may not be linked recursively". This is a normal behaviour. But I cannot quit the error message. Each ...

Remove Useless Languages
Hi,
I usually work with two languages, sometimes I need to add two more.
Anyway, looking in the too much list is painful.
Is there a way to edit the list to remove languages that I'm sure I don't use,
Thank you

looking for text in a specified font
On the document properties we can find the list on the used font in a document. I have two remarks and two questions and/or suggestions: 1) we have the list of fonts that are not installed on this computer. My document is quite big and i would fix it by changing the font in the document instead of a...

No news?
Without going so far as Microsoft Office does, at least, and I guess this could not be so difficult, a "duplicate tab" should be strongly welcomed,

Import Style
Sometimes I want to update a current document that is based on an old template or no template at old. The best way to do that should be to import the paragraph style and character style from a template or another document. Is ther a way to do that? If not, don't you think that could be a nice featur...

Paragraph Properties Inhéritance
Here is my problem. I write different documents in different languages. I can modify the language in Paragraph/Character dialogue boxes. My paragraph styles are organised in hierarchical structure. I want to change the language on the main style and that language are inherited to all sub-styles. Som...

Thank you. I noticed that for new documents the feature was working but I did not realised that this was linked to the file format.

Re: custom colour names
I answer your question. I want to give a meaning to the names. I may have the same colours with multiple name because : These names can be associated to different portions of text, for example keyword, address or whatever else. At a first time I wish they hold the same colour but in the future may b...

Re: custom colour names
Additionnaly, trying to work around this issue, TextMaker proceed automatically to optimisations, merging colours if they are the same, changing the order. Why to not let them as they are, and only optimise if the user explicitly requests it?
