Had the same problem with file associations, also did not opt for file associations in custom instal. Windows 10 default app settings now show only Textmaker 2024 with no option for version 2021. 'Open with' in the context menu shows only version 2024.

I will try your suggestion, but wonder if part of the problem comes from uninstalling Softmaker 2018 and then installing Softmaker 2021. Might there be complications from settings and files surviving previous installations?

The option to remove a separator line above endnotes appears to work, but the line re-appears when Textmaker is closed and re-opened.

The drop down menu on the menu bar shows both pinned and unpinned files that have been recently opened. The option to clear all unpinned files appears to work, but the unpinned files re-appear when Textmaker is closed and re-opened. Clearing the unpinned files one at a time does clear them permanent...
