Re: No footnote?
Thanks for quick answer! Disappointed though that this crucial feature is missing! /Maria I understand your disappointment, but I also recognize that FreeOffice offers a tremendous amount of functionality (as well as excellent file compatibility with Microsoft Office) ... for free. It's just not re...

Re: Footnotes
Footnotes are not available in the Windows version of FreeOffice. They are available in the paid version of SoftMaker Office. It appears that footnotes is one of the features not offered in FreeOffice.

Re: Bug report - please fix - re: paste unformatted
Using your sample file, I followed your instructions to copy the data, open a new sheet, and paste>special>unformatted text into the new sheet. Whether I left all options checked or I unchecked all options, the data pasted with the decimal values correct. PlanMaker 2024, release S1222.1129, 64-bit, ...

Re: Can't install
This is disappointing, but not surprising. I wish you would continue to make older versions available.
I'm not going to replace my cell phone just so I can install PlanMaker 2024, so I guess I'll have to copy PlanMaker 2021 from a device on which it's already installed.

Can't install
I have a couple of older Samsung tablets with SoftMaker Office 2021 installed. My cell phone is also a Samsung, a J3 Eclipse model that runs Android version 8.1.0 -- and that's as updated as this phone can get. I was hospitalized recently and all I had was the cell phone. I knew that I had TextMaker...

Re: Paste as text does not include all decimals
Hi, Please try these steps: 1 select all of the data 2 Edit>Copy 3 open a new sheet 4 Edit>Paste Special>Paste as: Unformatted text, uncheck All under Paste formatting 5 review numbers in column F, and note that cell F7 pasted as 32970 and not 329.70, cell F11 pasted as 17220 and not 172.20 etc. In...

Re: How to Fix Awkward Spaces in Justified Text?
TextMaker is a word processor not a DTP program. You can, as Woody44 said, make it work on TextMaker. He's response is correct however keep in mind that the results will always be amateurish because TM is not the right tool for the job. Neither is LibreOffice or MS Word. One can always tell when a ...

Another vote for this. I didn't know that FlexiPDF didn't support it. This has been an option in Adobe Acrobat and Reader for at least a decade.

Re: How to Fix Awkward Spaces in Justified Text?
Not automatically. As a self-published author who has formatted all my own books for print, this is something I have wrestled with, and there is no easy solution. You can try using a different font, you can try increasing or decreasing the font size by a half point either way, and if that doesn't ac...

Re: DeepSeek integration
But recently, Microsoft started to give Ad version of Word Excel PowerPoint with simple Copilot features for free. They now make money out of Ads inside Word Excel PowerPoint. Nice try, but hardly a good comparison. https://www.pcguide.com/news/you-can-now-get-a-free-version-of-microsoft-office-but...

Re: Fonts = Personal vs. Commercial Use?
Just to add to the confusion, suppose someone has Windows Professional but they bought Office Home & Student? Or they have Windows Home, but they bought Office Professional? This could mean that they can use some of their Microsoft fonts for commercial purposes, but not all of them. It strikes m...

Question on breaks
Can someone explain the difference between a section break and a chapter break? Having moved from Microsoft Word to SoftMaker Office, I haven't fully adapted to differences in terminology and differences in the way things work. In Word, I can enter a column break, a page break, or any of four types ...

The screen shot illustrates the problem, but without making the file available to us we can't possibly try to figure out what's causing the problem.
