Re: CTRL+fullstop faulty

@stascheit Like I said, I am on a Mac, and at my end CTRL+full stop inserts a date, but without the full year. So for today it inserts 22-07-25 instead of 2022-07-25. I have submitted a test file that shows what I mean. CMD+full stop does not work at all, nothing happens. BTW, the manual does NOT sa...

Re: [SOLVED] CTRL+fullstop faulty

Correction: this issue is NOT soved. CTRL+comma is copy cell above. Therefore, if in the cell above there is today's date, CTRL+comma will copy that. I am disappointed you did not point this out to me, leaving me under the illusion this issue was solved. I will not prursue this any further. If you a...

Re: CTRL+fullstop faulty

Well, well, I just discovered that this is not a bug, or perhaps it is. To insert the current date with a keyboard shortcut on a Mac, the manual says to use CTRL+full stop, which does not work. However ……… CTRL+comma DOES work! So, as far as I am concerned this issue is resolved, and I will mark it ...

Re: CTRL+fullstop faulty

I made another test file (attached), empty too except for 1 cell filled with today's date. The cell is formatted YYYY-MM-DD, which should result in 2022-07-20.
It still results in 22-07-20.

Re: CTRL+fullstop faulty

@Supertech: I have attached the sminfo.txt file.

Like I said in one of my replies above, there is no file to supply, the issue happens if I open an existing file or create an entirely new one.

Re: CTRL+fullstop faulty

Thanks for your feedback. I did exactly what you told me to do: uninstall Freeoffice entirely (I made sure there were no bits left in ~/Library), then closed down my computer, restarted it, but the problem is still there. I guess there is something at my end that causes it after installing the last ...

Re: CTRL+fullstop faulty

Thank you for your feedback. Once again I tried it, but the problem is still there. I also made a GIF with my settings exactly the same as yours, but it does not make any difference. I don't know how I can add a GIF to a comment here (perhaps you can let me know), but for now I have sent it to forum...

Re: CTRL+fullstop faulty

@Supertech: there is no file to supply. If you just open a new file, which is what I did for the screen recording, and you do CTRL + full stop, it happens. Note that this is on a Mac . I have noticed that it works fine on Linux - no info on Windows, which does not interest me because I don't use Win...

Re: Table header when copy/pasting

@Supertech: thanks for your reply. Your forum does not allow attaching a file, so I have sent it (Test.xlsx) to forum[at]softmaker.de.

The problem happens when I paste the table into a Typora markdown file.

Note: I am using MacOS.

Re: CTRL+fullstop faulty

@Supertech: I also have FreeOffice installed on 2 Linux machines, and the problem does not occur on those. It only occurs on my Mac, and only since the last service pack.

Table header when copy/pasting

When I copy a table from Planmaker and paste it into a markdown file, I get this https://i.imgur.com/0vpHlMT.png As you can see, the header Time has asterisks and a slash before and after it, even though in the original spreadsheet this is not the case. It is the same for all the headers. This happe...
