Re: Unsolicited Behavior of Web-based Help
Found out the reason. The good news is, SoftMaker is not alone responsible for this issue. I take part of the blame. Since SoftMaker Office 2021 for Linux does not respect Linux defaults and creates its unhidden "SoftMaker" directory directly in the HOME directory of the user, I have tweak...

Re: Unsolicited Behavior of Web-based Help
OS: Linux Mint Mate 19.3.
This is what I get when I double-click on an HTML file in my file manager. And this is what I get, when I click on Help > Help in TextMaker2021. Do your see the difference?
Regards
Tom

Unsolicited Behavior of Web-based Help
I am very concerned about the New feature: In addition to the PDF manual, context-sensitive web-based help is now integrated into the programs. in SoftMaker Professional 2021 (rev S1034.0713) 64bit It starts up my Web Browser in a mode that I do not want. I have spend a lot of time configuring the p...

Limited chart quality: No thick lines
OS: Linux Mint Mate 19.3 PlanMaker Professional 2021 (rev S1032.0507) 64bit I recently tried to create an XY Scatter chart in PlanMaker. The line width of the series in the resulting chart was too thin. So, I selected the series, opened the context menu and called "Series: Properties ..."....

Cross references: Ignored Headings
TextMaker Professional 2021 (rev S1030.0202) 64bit Dear All, I just noticed that TM 2021 does not seem to recognize custom headings as valid cross references. In the attached example "CrossReferences.docx" I have created 3x3 hierarchical headings. While the first 2x3 headings refer to the ...

Dear SoftMaker Team, I have created a simple test presentation (attached) using the default presentation template of Presentations Professional 2021 (rev S1016.0624) 64bit. I have entered some information into the title slide, added a second slide with some information and enabled and inserted a foo...

Re: How to remove any user data from SMO documents
Thanks for your quick reply, although I find it hard to believe. I just ran the same experiment with LibreOffice 6.3. I did not find any user data in the unzipped pptx document created with LibreOffice. The "docProps/core.xml" includes only "<cp:lastModifiedBy></cp:lastModifiedBy>&quo...

I am not reporting a missing dropdown menu. I am reporting images in those dropdown menus that are too small to be read without a magnifying glass.

Object Properties: Line end styles hardly legible
Dear SoftMaker Team, while running Presentations Professional 2021 (rev S1016.0624) 64bit I noticed that the line-end-style preview included with the "Object Properties" dialog of drawn lines is hardly legible. LineProperties.png The situation is much better for the "Arrow Style"...

Crash reports triggered without any previous indication of a crash
Dear All, I am running SoftMaker Office 2021 (rev S1016.0624) 64bit under Linux Mint Mate 18.3. I typically close SoftMaker by first closing the document per CTRL+W and then closing the application per CTRL+Q. So far, I have not experienced a crash of TextMaker2021 or Presentations2021 (I seldom use...

I support the request for an equation editor for the entire SoftMaker Office suite under Linux. It is absolutely necessary in order to write scientific papers.
