Martin,
The TAB character will be visible if the “Show Unprintable Characters” box for Tabs is selected under Options View and the “Set left and first-line indent with Tab and Backspace keys” is not selected under Options Edit.

Martin, Thank you for the prompt response. I did check the indent issue before the initial post was sent. The documents I used were created in SO 2018 with the TAB character clearly identified. The worksheets and tables previously referenced had no links internally or externally. Additionally, the worksheets and tables were initially created in SO 2018.
