Re: Linux version still lacking features
Totally agree with the necessity of equation editor : this request in years old, but none plans announced for this moment. However, what do you mean saying: no grammar checker for any language that is not German ? I'm using English and French (besides German), grammar automatic check works just fine...

Change defaul font in Presentation
Hello,
Is there a way to change the default font for text box in Presentation NX? I found the solution in support documents for Textmaker, but it doesn't work in Presentation.
All the best!

Email client integration to TextMaker - any plans?
I recently discovered the integrated AI translator (DeepL?) and AI chat options in TextMaker, and I absolutely love them. As someone who regularly works with documents in three languages (English, German, and French), I find these options to be marvelous. Now, I even use TextMaker to edit my emails,...

Kubuntu 23.10 installation : just a bit of nuissance
Just a minor nuissance: I have updated to Ubuntu 23.10 (Kubuntu, to be precise) by re-installing my system. But then the .deb install file 1107-01 refused to be installed by QArk due to unresolved dependencies. Installation by dpkg -i went smoothly though. Discover also installs .deb file without an...

Re: Activation code doesn't work
I just checked it on KDE Neon : downloading .deb package, and installing via Discover works fine. Wish I could get that far. I am using Ubuntu on an older Surface pro and so need to install a deb64 version. I have tried to install as Deb as per the instructions. However, I am thinking because it is ...

Re: Activation code doesn't work
I'm not on deb-based system now, so, I cannot check it myself. But if you open downloaded .deb package with GUI program, like GDebi (or similar), it should be installed without any syntax involved?

Re: Subscript / Superscript formattings by shortcuts are irreversible
OK, so, this is not a bug. Nice to know, thank you!
Yes, it would be useful to have formatting shortcuts uniform in all apps of the Office.

Subscript / Superscript formattings by shortcuts are irreversible
When formatting the text in a text box of Presentation, imposing subscript (ctrl-shift-"-") or superscript (ctrl-shift-"+") formatting is irreversible. It means that when pressing these keys again on the same symbol, the formatting is not getting back to normal. As it does, for e...

Re: Installation failed
In a parallel thread "Activation code doesn't work", the same problem was invoked.
It appears that installing Office system-wide (not user-only) allows to avoid this activation problem.

Indeed, re-installing system-wide allows to launch Office.

Re: Activation code doesn't work
Yes, I'm afraid that the problem is still here.
In a parallel thread people confirm successful installation on Endeavour OS, also Arch-based. So, I wonder, is it KDE-specific, or Manjaro-specific?

Re: Activation code doesn't work
Same problem here : persistent error message after entering product key :
I'm also on Manjaro : could it be specific for Arch-based distros? An internal error (-105) occurred. Please try again later.

Re: Equation editor
I do like SoftMaker Office, and its text editor Textmaker. It seems that it has much less issues in compatibility with MS Word than alternative offices, like OnlyOffice. And by my experience SoftMaker Office is more stable than LibreOffice, especially its presentation tool (Presentation vs. Impress)...
