You recognize that this path is identical to the one, I suggested? Just to be sure.

Re: Incorrect system fonts on Fedora 41

I cannot find an option to change the interface font or to find which font needs to be install and accessible :/ While the specifics of your system and configuration are important, I only encountered similar problems when a requested font had not really been available. I suggest to find the setting...

Re: Fonts = Personal vs. Commercial Use?

It's all a bit silly, since they are the same fonts and I don't think there's any way for anyone to know whether a file was created using a Home or a Professional version of Windows or Office, but technically Microsoft does make that distinction in their licensing agreements. Unless you are using a...

Re: DeepSeek integration

If SoftMaker were to integrate DeepSeek into FreeOffice, and if DeepSeek is any good -- users of FreeOffice would have less incentive to upgrade to SoftMalker Office. You sweep away all that surrounds a server software hosted in China. Maybe the friendly face that AI-rika shows in the forum unbalan...

Meandering around the pitfalls of reality will not give you an advantage in your campaign to boost your data-sucking machine.

There is one shiny cool feature about SoftMaker that you overlook. Keep it going.

Re: DeepSeek integration

This tells a lot about the quality of the public . Nothing about the quality of any product or service. “ Nothing is more noble and requires more courage than to find oneself in open contradiction with our times, to stand up and to say: NO! ” (rough ad-hoc translation of Kurt Tucholsky) I am not cou...

Re: DeepSeek integration

I agree with you Michael. Even the argument about Netscape vs IE seems like it was done with AI. Those of us who lived the Browser wars know better than to fall for that over-simplified and out of context comparison. Okay, you got my argumentation right, but this only concerns AIrika's choice of wo...

Re: DeepSeek integration

Deep Seek is a server software. Tell me where the servers are and will be. “Openness” is about sharing. A cloak and dagger attitude towards knowledge, scientific work and the benefit that YOU clandestinely tear from the work of others, has nothing to do with openness. Do not mix it all to confuse us...

Re: DeepSeek integration

Do with the Professional package whatever you want.

For FreeOffice, I think that Huawei-Cloud-HK would really really be too much free service in a gratuitous software. And why would you want to punish us this way ...

Re: Equation Editor, and Mathematical Formulas in Linux Version of Softmaker (or Freemaker) ... is ever going to happen?

More Motivation. When I was a “professional Software-Developer” (“They” called me that), I made a lot of money (fast) by developing the same software, practically all the time, which has – in diverse incarnations – existed already for 20 or 30 years. That was neither Equation-Editors nor Automation ...

Re: Equation Editor, and Mathematical Formulas in Linux Version of Softmaker (or Freemaker) ... is ever going to happen?

Good morning. I can understand the demand for integrated software which would then cooperate with the main program. But PSE consider that there are specific tools for specific tasks, which has many advantages that I should not need to list here (we can do that, if you must know). As you have mention...

@SuperTech and all. I have tried for half an hour, to reproduce the behavior which I had originally described in the German speaking forum AND CAN NO MORE. Ergo. It looks like The original bug is either corrected or cannot be reproduced - which may be the same thing. My example-files in the OP are c...
