Today I noticed that I could copy and paste text and images simultaneously between Textmaker and Thunderbird.
However, the images paste with text does not work between MS Word or Open Office to thunderbird. Whay is this?

The attached file is a screen capture with special characters showing. The text is pasted in and the first two lines end with a long dash looking character. Links and paragraph formatting problem?
When I paste a link in to Texmaker and then press return to enter some text below that link, Texmaker uses the formatting of the link in the next line which is not what a writer would want. You then have to reformat the paragraph before you can continue. How to avoid this problem. I'ts a pain.
