This happens when I start PM or TM, but not Presentations.

I've installed SM 2018 on a Pop OS system and it is spamming a bunch of settings files in the home folder. I deleted them, and they came back. I've checked the settings in each of the three programs and they each point to ~/SoftMaker/..., so I don't know what is causing this. I copied the ~/Softmake...

I've been using SM since 2003. I've generally used the academic licence, as I was a student and now I'm a teacher. I'm sure originally the licence was discounted, now it's free. I'm happy to pay, but would prefer to get the academic price, and would be a bit annoyed if I bought it at full price only...

It's not quite as easy as that, as keyboard shortcuts and templates don't transfer across seamlessly. Also I installed SM2018 onto a new machine, so I've never installed SM2016 on it.

I'm happy with SM2016, but I installed SM2018 for Linux for the Beta. It'd be a pain to revert to SM2016.

Attached is a file that is not working between versions of SM. I'm using SM2018 Linux at home and SM2016 Win at work. The colours for shading are wonky with SM Linux now (for background colour), so I've changed the foreground. However, it doesn't display properly in SM Win (or vice versa).

Do you have plans to offer SM2018 free to teachers and students? I've been using the Beta and now the free trial, but I'm not sure if you're going to offer the product free (or discounted) to academics.

In the meantime, however, I'll need to buy a copy of TM 2006. I assume it would be at the upgrade price. Would I get a refund on this if I then upgraded to SM Office 2006 at the academic price? :) After all, the price of the upgrade to SM Office 2006 Academic would, I assume, be less than the price ...

I purchased the academic version in SM Office 2004 and I'm now intending to purchase an upgrade to TM 2006, but currently there is no advertised academic price for this upgrade. Will there be any academic price for TM 2006?
